Bridge Over Troubled Waters

  1. What kind of program is this?

    1. HiSET (GED) / Career Exploration Program. Focused on stable housing for young adults.

  2. What is the age range of students in this program?

    1. Ages 14-24 years old.

  3. What are the program hours?

    1. Monday – Thursday, 9:00am-12:00pm.

    2. Tutoring Classes: Mon, Wed-Fri 1:00pm-4:00pm.

  4. When can I enroll?

    1. Rolling admission, enrollment available year-round.

  5. What are some common barriers of youth served?

    1. Homeless and at-risk youth, pregnant or parenting, mental health, court involved, substance abuse among other barriers.

  6. What services do you offer?

    1. Transitional Day Program, counseling, housing, medical and dental clinics on site and on the outreach van.

  7. What is your BYSN “Special Sauce”?

    1. An array of support services all under one roof. The services are departmentalized under Education and Career Development, Transitional Day Program, Transitional Living, Maternal Group Home, Emergency Residence, Counseling, Outreach and Dental/Health.
