BYSN MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to collaboratively improve the quality and diversity of services for youth at risk that allows them to develop the academic, work-readiness, life skills and support structure necessary to become self-sufficient adults.

What type of high school is this?

Alternative Education Diploma/Career Exploration - Accelerated diploma, competency-based education, over-age middle schoolers, over-age high school students, and we offer career exploration for academic credit.

What is the age range of students in this program?

14-21 years old.

What are the school hours?

Monday-Friday, 8AM - 3PM.

Why should I attend school here?

You can choose from college and career majors. Paid internships senior year and dual enrollment opportunities to earn college credits.

What are some common barriers of youth served?

Over-age and under credited students and over-age middle school youth.

What services do you offer?

Clinical counseling, wrap- around support services, college courses, and paid internships.

When can I enroll?

Open Enrollment; You can enroll at any point throughout the year.

Competency based, restorative justice model, serves not only high school students but also over-age middle students.
