YouthBuild Boston’s Project Advantage Program is looking for a trainee who is interested in entering the landscape construction workforce. Gain valuable landscape training while developing the skills needed to enter the growing green industry workforce.

Marijuana Anonymous Meetings at Ostiguy High

Weekly support meetings on Wednesdays at 5:30 pm at William J. Ostiguy High School in Downtown Crossing (ABCD - 19 Temple Place, 3rd Floor). The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop using marijuana.

2008 Summer Jobs Registration (Boston Youth Fund)

The Boston Youth Fund will accept applications for summer jobs from Boston teens ages 15-17 through March 19th. Visit the website for registration details, information in eight languages and job descriptions. Youth must be registered in Hopeline to work through the Boston Youth Fund.

Teen Digital Media Workshops at ICA

The Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston has an interesting digital media program for teens. They have a series of workshops throughout the year, an advanced video program and opportunities for youth to get involved in arts-oriented events. Currently, there are openings available in the spring Subversive Audio Tours workshop and a Digital Photography workshop. See below for additional details.

AGM Diversity Fellowship Program 2008-2009

Associated Grant Makers of Boston is pleased to announce that applications for the 2008-2009 Diversity Fellowship Program are being accepted. The Diversity Fellowship Program seeks to increase the diversity in the field, meet the interest of emerging leaders wanting to get into philanthropy, help prepare them, and open doors for Black African Americans, Hispanics, Asian Americans, Pacific Islanders and Native Americans.

Youth Unscripted/ Urban Improv - Call for Teens

Youth Unscripted trains today’s emerging, young leaders in the proven violence prevention methodology of Urban Improv. Using theater as a powerful medium for social change, teens draw from their personal life experiences to craft provocative scenes around difficult issues. Teens in Youth Unscripted then showcase these scenes in interactive workshop format to dialogue with peers at public schools and community centers. Youth stipends available.
