JOB POSTING ABE/GED Teachers and Clerical Assistant

ESAC is seeking passionate and caring staff for our ABE and GED preparation programs. The GED Plus program serves inner-city youths, ages 16-24. Positions will be available after September 1.

During the summer, the PIC has a Monday evening weekly slot to fill on BNN TV.  The invitation is extended to any BYSN program to use this opportunity to highlight their organization.  Slots are available on Mondays in July and August - please respond below with possible dates if you are interested.

Federated Dorchester Neighborhood Houses, Inc. serves the community as a catalyst for action and change, helping to build a community of caring individuals. 

The Black Ministerial Alliance of Greater Boston, Inc. is looking for individuals who have experience delivering workshops to teens, particularly teens at a higher risk level in our Summer Enrichment Series Program.

ESAC - GED Plus Instructors

Passionate and caring instructors for the summer and fall of 2007 serving inner-city youth ages 16-24. Positions require a Bachelors’ degree, with a Masters’ degree preferred and experience with high-risk youth and ABE/GED teaching, particularly in math and reading. 

MAP is a full-time, year-round Career Exploration serving DYS-committed youth ages 17-21 who are residents of Boston. Most referrals come through DYS caseworkers and CRC Directors, but teachers, counselors, and eligible students are welcome to apply. Sociedad Latina is offering free Music Production and Digital Story classes to non-profit organizations this summer. The classes will be held Mondays thru Saturdays from 10:00-12:00 and 1:00-3:00. * Each class will hold 8 participants.
