The BOSTON YOUTH SERVICE NETWORK is a group of community-based organizations providing an integrated continuum of Alternative Education and Career Exploration programs for at-risk youth who have not found success in traditional systems. REFER A YOUTH.

 

Member organizations have a shared mission to improve the quality and diversity of services for youth so they develop the academic, work-readiness, life skills and support structure necessary to become productive adults.

Crittenton Women's Union: CHANCES is an intervention program for pregnant students from Boston Public Schools that provides academic classes, as well as intensive case management, one-on-one academic support, and classes to prepare students to become successful parents.

ABCD Summerworks is currently accepting applications for summer jobs.  Applicants must be a Boston resident, age 14-24 and meet the income guideline criteria.  All applications are available at any ABCD Neighborhood center.  Youth are encouraged to apply as soon as possible!

Youth Summer Internships at Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway

The Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway Conservancy is recruiting for their 8 week summer internship program for Boston youth 17-20 years old.  Attached is an information sheet about the internship as well as an application.  The Conservancy is looking for 6 interns this summer and will be beginning the interviewing process in the beginning of April.  Please call Kent Jackson, Outreach Education Director, with questions (617-603-7731).
