The BOSTON YOUTH SERVICE NETWORK is a group of community-based organizations providing an integrated continuum of Alternative Education and Career Exploration programs for at-risk youth who have not found success in traditional systems. REFER A YOUTH.
Member organizations have a shared mission to improve the quality and diversity of services for youth so they develop the academic, work-readiness, life skills and support structure necessary to become productive adults.

YouthBuild Boston Hiring a Life Resources Advisor
Posted June 2nd, 2010 by Heidi HallThe Life Resources Adviser will serve as an in-depth mentor and coach to ensure that current-program as well as post-program clients maintain a holistic view of what they are trying to accomplish. This staff member will also provide expertise in understanding of and securing resources from agencies and programs that support “must-have” basics for individuals such as proper housing, heath care, access to transportation, and food. Key to this process is a continuous evaluation of and focus on the importance of smaller-seeming achievements and building productive habits in perspective of larger long-term goals. Massachusetts Peer Leadership Institute - registration open
