The BOSTON YOUTH SERVICE NETWORK is a group of community-based organizations providing an integrated continuum of Alternative Education and Career Exploration programs for at-risk youth who have not found success in traditional systems. REFER A YOUTH.
Member organizations have a shared mission to improve the quality and diversity of services for youth so they develop the academic, work-readiness, life skills and support structure necessary to become productive adults.

Health Careers Ambassadors working on a health education display. This program at Hyde Square Task Force places youth in health care internships where they gain hands on experience in a healthcare setting. ESAC's GED Plus Expands
Posted August 19th, 2010 by Heidi HallThe GED Plus Program this fall will include eight separate classes, three of which are new – and expansion from three to five class sites around the city. Thus the program expects to serve between 90 and 100 students at any one time in the year. All classes are available to 16-24 year old Boston residents. See below for specific classes starting in September.

Gaston Institute Statewide Latino Public Policy Conference 2010

JVS Bridge to College program recruiting for September class
Posted July 26th, 2010 by Heidi HallJVS Bridges to College is now able to offer morning classes beginning
September 13. We are now recruiting for a class of 20 students, with ESOL learners being the top priority. Classes will run 3 mornings a week--M-T-W---from 9 AM to 1 PM. Testing and information sessions begin the week of Aug. 2. Note our application deadline of August 30 (no exceptions). The attached flyer has more details.
