The BOSTON YOUTH SERVICE NETWORK is a group of community-based organizations providing an integrated continuum of Alternative Education and Career Exploration programs for at-risk youth who have not found success in traditional systems. REFER A YOUTH.
Member organizations have a shared mission to improve the quality and diversity of services for youth so they develop the academic, work-readiness, life skills and support structure necessary to become productive adults.

This is a collaboration of the Boston Youth Service Network, Jobs and Community Services and Youth Options Unlimited. Nearly 200 youth graduate from a community-based school

198 youth graduated from a community-based school or young adult GED program during the 2009-2010 academic year--83 diploma and 113 GED. Congratulations graduates!
Citywide summer graduation honors summer graduates

Monday, August 30, 2010A citywide summer graduation will celebrate students who completed credits this summer to graduate from the Boston Public Schools. This includes students who completed credits through the alternative summer school at University High School. The graduation takes place at 6 pm at White Stadium on Mon, August 30.
Youth videos share personal portraits of Boston neighborhoods

The Boston Youth Service Network partnered with Common Boston through the Youthwalks Media Project. Video mentor Ted Resnikoff worked with BYSN youth to create walking tours that are personal portraits of their own neighborhoods. The videos premiered at a special event on June 19 (links to videos below).
