The Youth Policy Initiative is a network of Massachusetts youth agency networks, which seeks to influence the Commonwealth to build support for legislative, budget and administrative action on behalf of overlooked youth in our communities. We seek to re-frame the Commonwealth's policy focus on overlooked and disconnected youth, addressing the entire universe of issues affecting these youth by documenting the results, and championing the expansion, of smart public investment in overlooked youth. From 2008-2010 we were a learning network of networks; now in our fourth year we are moving to become an action network.The Youth Policy Initiative (YPI) Network Coordinator will convene, support, and build the YPI Network to support its policy campaigns. The Coordinator will maintain an office and have access to administrative support at Organizing Leadership and Training Center in Dorchester. Position is open until February 11, 2011.
