Youth Jobs Rally - organize in support of opportunities for youth

Schedule:
1) We will meeting at Old South Church at 12pm
2) We will be leaving OSC at 12:30 to begin our march
3) We will begin to enter the State House at about 1pm-you will be directed to either the Hooker entrance or the basement entrance; please be patient as it will take a while to get everyone through the metal detectors at the entrances
4) There will be an event in Gardiner Auditorium, in the basement of the State House, from about 2-3.
5) Only the first 600 or so people will fit into Gardiner, if you enter the State House after Gardiner is filled you will be directed towards our overflow room-room A1
6) After you leave Gardiner/A1 you will be directed to meet with your State Rep/Senator
7) After all of your meetings please check back in at room A1 to report on what you accomplished

Legislative Visits:
1) Please schedule your legislative visits in advanced-the visits should be scheduled between 2-3 depending on whether you attend the Gardiner event. Attached is a list of all Reps and Senators. If your Rep/Senator is unavailable please schedule a meeting with their legislative aids
2) Also attached is an outline for the legislative visits. Please review the outline with your teen leaders before the rally if possible.
3) Make sure you keep track of all of your visits and what commitments you got. There is a tracking sheet in the attached packet.

Turnout:
1) Please make REMINDER CALLS to everyone who told you they would attend the rally
2) Please support your people with transportation and logistical help as necessary (I can help folks with this as well).
3) If you have not already let me know, please let me know what organizations you are turning out so I can track this and so they can be thanked during our roll call

Volunteers:
1) We still need volunteers to help with day of logistics, please be in touch if you can help. We are having a logistics training on Tuesday at 4 at Dorchester Bay, please attend if you can.
