Gates Millennium Scholars Application Workshop

Please join us at the Gates Millennium Scholars (GMS) Application Workshop. It is hosted by the Boston Public Schools (BPS) Office of High School Support, United Negro College Fund (UNCF), and Suffolk University's Office of Academic Access and Opportunity.

Funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, GMS is the country's largest minority scholarship program. In 2010, six BPS students were among the 1,000 students nationwide and 11 in Massachusetts to earn this prestigious scholarship. This is the highest number of Gates Millennium Scholars to come from BPS in one year. In light of this unprecedented success and with your help in identifying eligible students, we aim to increase the number of BPS students awarded this scholarship in 2011.
