Community Based Education Programs Celebrate Their Graduates

Over 175 students graduated from community-based diploma and GED programs in 2007-08. Organizations celebrated the students' accomplishments in personal ways, including festive graduation ceremonies to celebrate with friends and family.

Students have a range of plans, now that they have their diploma or GED. These include 4-year college (UMass Boston, Bay State College, Newburry College, Gibbs College) or local community colleges, advanced training programs and/or vocational schools (Year Up, merchandising, automotive, carpentry, EMT training), employment and plans to start a small business. Congratulations to all our graduates!
