Strategies for Creating Trauma Sensitive Schools (DOE Conference)
The MA Dept of Education is sponsoring a day-long conference on implementing safe and supportive learning environments, "trauma-sensitive schools." The conference will build on the topics included in the conferences from the last two years, with an emphasis on strategies and tools to implement in your school or district. Outside experts and schools/districts will present on a range of topics and promising practices, all related to creating a more safe and supportive learning environment.
The conference takes place at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester - 8:30am-2:45 pm. There is no fee for this event. For more information, and to register, please visit:
