El Centro del Cardenal is a multi-service agency providing educational and social support to youth and adults in the Greater Boston area. El Centro's Youth Education Program is committed to providing young men and women, ages 15-21, the opportunity to earn either a high school diploma or a GED in a nurturing environment that values and supports them as they develop their individual strengths.
Each student is required to maintain a portfolio. Team projects currently offered include student council organization and facilitation, health education, food and culture, community activism, and dance and drama (in collaboration with City Stage Theater Company).
