BYSN Awarded Teen Initiative Implementation Grant!

The Boston Youth Service Network was awarded a $30,000 implementation grant through the Teen Initiative. This funding will allow the network to accomplish key goals (listed below) and is a great opportunity. Great work everyone, particularly our ad hoc committee that did the bulk of the work putting the proposal together. Congratulations BYSN!

Teen Initiative network goals:

1. Systematize an outreach and referral process to BYSN programs, targeting youth at risk of dropping out of high school.

2. BYSN is a planning partner in the development and implementation of a BPS action plan to address struggling and out-of-school students.
3. More tightly coordinated and expanded network referral system - foster network connections among staff, joint case management opportunities and postsecondary connections.
