Attached is a compilation of upcoming funding opportunities, including public and some corporate dollars. There are a few that might be of interest to member organizations: Staples Foundation to support job skills and education programs for disadvantaged youth and a USDOJ Mentoring Initiative.
Staples Foundation for Learning, Education Grants Program
The mission of Staples Foundation for Learning is to provide funding to programs that support or provide job skills and education for all people, with a special emphasis on disadvantaged youth. Interested organizations must align with the mission of the Staples Foundation and have a focus on job skills and education.
Funds: Range of grants: $5,000-25,000

US Dept of Justice, Support for Mentoring Initiatives Program
The Office of Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention invites applicants to propose the implementation of initiatives that will assist in the development and maturity of community programs to provide mentoring services to populations that are underserved due to location, supply of mentors, physical or mental challenges of the targeted population, or other such situations identified by the community in need of mentoring services.
Funds: $400,000 - 2,000,000 over three years
Deadline: June 8, 2007
