Thursday, March 11, 2010The Boston Youth Service Network is meeting next on Thurs, 3/11 from 2-4 pm at 555 Amory Street (PIC Jamaica Plain office). Click here for directions. The agenda includes an update on network advocacy efforts and a planning discussion for a youth showcase. Please note, there is an orientation for new members immediately before the meeting from 1:30 - 2:00 pm.

Each day includes networking, interactive workshops focused on skillbuiding and a gathering space for attendees to join each other in celebrating and recognizing the work we all do to support the development of young people. El Centro del Cardenal Youth Education's Annual Cultural Festival

Friday, February 26, 2010El Centro del Cardenal's Youth Education Department developed an Annual Cultural Festival to celebrate the cultures and backgrounds of all students, and also to provide a stage upon which students could express themselves and their cultural backgrounds.
This year's acts will include cultural dances & skits, poetry readings, open mic, and a fashion show.

Saturday, February 27, 2010Raise your voice and get involved by signing up for the Youth Climate Action Community Workshop on Sat, Feb 27. Make recommendations for the city’s new climate action plan on ways to reduce greenhouse gases, save energy, adapt to the changes we can’t avoid, and expand the green economy. At Old South Church, Back Bay. Registration/Brunch will be from 10–11am. Workshop will be from 11am–2pm. Free, but you must sign up online, www.cityofboston.gov/climate
