Save the Date!  The 9th annual Youth Work Intensive conference will be March 19 and 20 at the College of Public and Community Service, UMass Boston.  This is a conference that offers a series of skill building workshops focused on the knowledge and practice of youth work. It brings together trainers and leading practitioners to provide sessions focused on skill development, promising practices, and tools for everyday use. Accordingly, each workshop will address a broad topic while giving particular attention to tools, methods and strategies.  Sponsored by BEST Initiative and CPCS at UMass Boston.  More info.

Youth Transitions Task Force is meeting on Friday, March 19 from 8:30-10:30 am.  The meeting will be at the Boston PIC, 555 Amory Street, Jamaica Plain.  The agenda includes a presentation from DESE on the graduation and dropout rates for 08-09 and a second focus group for the BPS Educational Options planning process.  RSVP to kathy.hamilton@bostonpic.org.
